Morphing Flower for Lux

UPDATE:  This animation was chosen for the second place prize in Lux's Challenge mentioned below.   

Please, please, please wait for this whole animation to download before forming any opinions.  I think t's really cool to watch when it speeds up, but there is a bit of a wait.  This "flower" changes direction and remorphs three times!

This is my very first animation... and will probably be my last!  I'm not sure what I did wrong, but this took nearly 20 hours to render!  I still have a lot to learn I guess.  Please be kind.    It's not always about winning; sometimes it's about learning something new that's most important.

The two formulas I used are ManowarBulb and _PolyFolding with Julia on.  I created this effect by changing only the ManowarBulb Power setting in small increments.  A total of 225 images make up this animation.
